More fannish thoughts

John went bye-bye! He should have been gone three or four weeks ago. What a relief. After last week, I was actually a bit worried. Actually, no one was very good this week. Latin music is TOUGH. I thought it was a poor choice on the show's part to have this genre. Ah, well, I get the feeling they're picking stuff based on the guest judges they can get.

Over all, I liked this episode. There wasn't any particular thing that stood out as "Wow, I love this". It was more the over-all way it was put together. How the oddities of Illyeria's behavior where revealed bit by bit. And how Wes was never going to kill her.

One thing I wasn't too fond of -- the end. Watch Angel descend in moral ambiguity. Angel has issues. In particular, the guy has no concrete goals. He's wishy-washy. Drives me nuts. I want Spike to be the Champion. He's more solid. And much fun.
