Found this on a disk when I was looking for an old paper.


I am a lusty warrior lad,
I really love to fight.
I really like the women,
especially at night.

So many pretty women,
it's really hard to choose.
But when I have some money,
I spend it all on booze.

I really like to drink my beer.
I really like to brawl.
And if you give me any lip,
I'll throw you through a wall!

I like to swing my sword about.
It is my tried true friend.
But I angered someone stronger,
and now it has a bend

I have some real nice armor.
(Please ignore the rust)
Cause when you are a fighting lad,
equipment is a must."

I really like to ride about,
that's why I have a horse.
and if you thought my rhymes were bad,
watch them now get worse!

When did you write it? It's silly, and fun, and I get a clear image of the speaker. It's a good thing to know that one did make some things during youth that are actually still interesting today.

I think... my junior year at Beloit. It's a total piece of fluff, but it's supposed to be, so I'm okay with that.
