Okay, can I just ask, what the HELL where they thinking? The best three performances in the bottom three for votes? Rarely am I ever this shocked. But this deserves it. John should have gone bye-bye. Instead, we loss someone who should have stayed. Very disappointed. Wonder if my dad was right -- three similar performers (black gals with church music backgrounds) are cutting the votes, bringing all three down in numbers. Blah.



First off, snerking over Spike and Not!Fred. I cracked up at the "We'll have Spike do it" exhange. This was enhanced by "Third, don't touch my clipboard."

Have I mentioned how much I'm going to miss this show? There's so little intellegent television. (Okay, I admit, if I were seeking purely intellegent TV, I wouldn't watch American Idol. But how would I survive without my weekly British snark?). *Sigh* I guess I'll give up TV in favor of movies -- not that things are much better there. Heck, I'm even finding fewer books that challenge me. Witness the dumbing down of America.

Okay, back to tonights episode. Theme was memories. We have Gunn willfully ditching his in favor fo torment. Wes reclaiming memories of torment. Angel simply tormenting himself over memories. And Connor. Who was handled wonderfully. Does he remember? Does it really matter? I think I liked Connor better tonight than I ever did previously.

Oh, and before Angel starts harping on the whole "older women" thing, how much older was Darla?
