I got the job! They called and offered eariler today. (you would have heard about it immediately, but I had an evening class). Happy, happy, happy. I gave notice and my boss was all "I knew you'd get it." Part of me was thinking "AND YOU COULDN'T SHARE THIS WITH ME?" Now, instead of worrying about getting the job, I can worry about the job itself. Whole other level of worry there.
