In the end, I was reminded by this moive that I love the whole Superman mythos. I've always considered myself more of a Batman girl, loving the complexity of Bruce Wayne's desperate need for therapy. But if Batman reminds me of a though-provoking, complex novel, Superman is that feel-good story that your mother always read to you, year after year. For that reason alone, I'd call the movie a sucess.
