Good news, bad news

Good news is I finished the long paper which has been eating my life. :)

Bad news is I didn't make the first round of interviews for the job I REALLY wanted. :(

My folks threw me a pity party. We went out to the restaurant of my choice, and my folks would occasionally pat my head and go "pity, pity, pity"
