The Play's the Thing

I got to see Hamlet at the Gutherie on Friday night. Hamlet was the first play performed there, and with the Company moving to a new building, it was also the last. It was decent, but the guy playing Hamlet was probably the weakest of the main characters. You'd think the Gutherie, of all places, could have attracted someone better. Ah, well. Here's looking forward to the new building. Maybe the seats there will have some leg room.
