Si-Fi Friday
Feb. 4th, 2006 04:12 pmThere were a couple of nice moments in this. Loved Teal'c when they found out Sam was still alive. Nicely done on Judge's part. And loved the line about Daniel not stopping till he's dead. And sometimes not even then. Hee. Also up there in fun moments, when Mitchell simply couldn't bring himself to sit in the General's chair.

Okay, the major thing I found myself thinking with this episode? What would have happened if Rodney had been there when Baldie had shown up? Would he have been left for not being "as strong in the gene" as Sheppard? (And don't get me started on the strange way genetics work in this series). Or would he have been dragged up to the Tower himself? That would have made for an interesting episode.
The other thing was that every time the son appeared, I found myself going "What a ponce."

First, can we please end the writers' love affair with non-linear storytelling? They've crossed the line from use to abuse. Second, I love the moment where Sharon was all "Let's have a girly bonding moment" with Starbuck, which was quickly ended by the armed guards.
