Over all, I liked it. It did fall victim to the one thing I hate, hate, HATE in book-to-movie adaptations. It had an added/expanded action scene. You know, those scenes where what's in the book apparently isn't exciting or thrilling enough, so they add a bunch of stuff. Always bugs me, because I find myself wondering what they had to drop that was in the book so they could add that. Every other change didn't bother me as much, because it was a way of dealing with a dropped subplot. It's the added stuff that has no plot purpose that bugs me. But then, if I wanted mindless action scenes, I'd see an action movie.
