Good weekend

terrieThe demo went great. I only was a part of one group performing, but, of course, we went first and I ended up in the lead position. (Person front and center starts and everyone moved towards the back once they were up there). The rest of the demo was really cool. Both my parents liked it. The dinner afterwards was lots of fun. All around a success. And now I have lucky New Years money. Go me!
Stargate: Oooo, fanboy shout out! There is a warning here about the dangers of making TV your life. Your wife will leave you, your teenage kid will roll his eyes and all your friends will stop talking to you. Funniest episode ever, though the ending was kinda lame. (Jack should have never gone to meet the wife. Bad general. There's a thing called national security).
Atlantis: I sniffled. I cheered and sniffled over Rodney's death. I'm proud that the resident nerd got to be a hero. And that it didn't happen in this timeline so I can continue to cheer him on.
Joan of Arcadia: It's kinda gone down hill this season. I really couldn't care less about Joan/Adam. They bore me. But I did like the interaction of Joan and Helen in the end. Cool mother/daughter moment. Loved that Joan was grounded. (She totally deserved it). And that owning up to her actions should her mom way more how mature Joan is than defying Helen and playing the maturity card ever would. Also loving the Kevin/Andy stuff. I think Kvein is finally understanding that, even if he wasn't damaged physically, the accident did screw Andy up.
