Five Scenes Meme

1) Cordelia watching the tape of Doyle after his death in "Hero" from Angel. Whaaaaaa! I still tear up over that one. It was just.... Whaaaaa! The first nine episodes were a build up to that scene, I swear. Cordy and Doyle's give and take and growing friendship and then, WHAM!, they pull the rug out from under you.

2) The opening scene in Firefly's "Objects in Space". An amazing look inside the head of River. The imagery and Summer Glau's acting. It was all perfectly done. Also, some very funny lines. I miss Firefly. Stupid Fox.

3) In Joan of Arcadia's "Book of Questions", when Grace calls off the bat mitzvah and Luke tells her "I already got you a present." Totally heartbreaking. Those two are... Everyone should have a Luke in their life. That whole scene just summed up their relationship. Sad and sweet all at once.

4) Any time Simon opens his mouth on American Idol. I need the snarky British man to keep talking. It keeps me from going crazy at the sheer amount of stupid people in the world. Okay, so not really in keeping with the meme, but true. Very, very true.

5) In the original Star Wars movie, when the Death Star blows up. It's the ultimate in feel good moments. Not a great reason, but there you go...
