Let it snow

Snowed a good three inches last night. It's very pretty, but something of a pain in the ass, since my dad had to have some work done his car this morning, and I got tapped to pick him up from the garage. It's very hesitant driving today. Saw one of those double long buses that had skidded partially into someone's front lawn. Not a sight that makes you want to be on the roads. Thankfully, now that I'm home, I have no where I need to go, so I'm staying here until it's stopped snowing and the plows have gone through. Of course, under th Snow Emergency system, my street won't be plowed till tomorrow. We're a purely residential, so the city is in no hurry.

Max, of course, thinks this is the best thing since canned dog food. Lhasa Apsos are a cold weather breed, so for him, this falls into the category of "Things that are fun." What he doesn't like is that we stick him in his crate when he comes inside. But with his long hair, he turns into one big snow ball.

In other fun pet news, my cat is odd. Not too shocking. When I first got her, three years ago (wow, it's been a while), my grandma got me one of those round cat bed things. She ignored it, and I took to putting sweaters in it. While recently doing so rearranging, I decided it was time to toss the damn thing. Now, it's one of her favorite places to curl up. Of course. Contrary little beast.
