Guilty admission on Vetran's Day

When I see "Vet" I always think Veterinarian, not Veteran. Which makes all the pronouncements of "Thank you to our Vets" seem very odd. Not that I'm not extremely grateful for the care my pets receive, but I have to stop and think about why they would have a day dedicated to it.
