I hate this time of year. Some idiot in my complex has fireworks. Just what I need when I'm dead tired. Flashing lights and popping noises right outside my window. *grumble*
Some morons (adults and kids) set off a string of REALLY LOUD firecrackers at 11p Sunday night. I had just gotten to sleep, woke up thinking it was gunshots, then heard all of them laughing at how awesome they are.
Of course, the cat doesn't care in the slightest. The dog doesn't care if it's in the distance, but when it's right outside, he starts barking, because he knows it's not normal.
Oh, and did I mention how the whole region is nothing more than a giant box of tinder waiting to go off at the first spark?
