Her blood tests are back and Cleo has terminal anemia. Not something you think of being that dangerous, but her red blood cell count is so low, her heart could stop at any time for lack of oxygen. I will be making an appointment to have hr put to sleep. She's so weak, and I hate the thought of her suffering, more than I hate the thought of losing her. And I hate losing her a LOT.

Thank you. I'm going to try and get an appt. this morning, because I'm SO afraid that if I have to wait, I'll talk myself out of it. And I once promised myself I would NEVER keep a pet alive only for my own comfort. She's not in any pain at the moment, and I don't want her to be. But if her heart starts to fail, she will be.

Thanks. It's been a tough week. I spent two days doing nothing but crying. This is why I have more than one pet. It's hard to wallow in sorrow when the dog is needs to go out and pee. Right now.
