I am amused
May. 5th, 2010 01:04 pmBeen playing around with Bad Translator, which runs a phrase back and forth from English to various languages. Some of the results:
"Red fish, blue fish, one fish, two fish" becomes "Mero -2 fish"
"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" becomes "Quick brown give."
And going a little more complex, the opening line of Pride and Prejudice:
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife." results in "That is the sound, it must be less than happy marriage."
