Go ahead. Twist my arm.
Aug. 10th, 2004 04:03 pmSo it turns out I won't be defering law school. Why? Well, they offered me an $18,500 merit scholarship. (oh, yah, I got accepted). Wow, huh? Someone else apparently changed their mind, so they're giving me the money. Squee!
So, classes start on the 26th. The mind boggles at the speed at which things are approaching. Wow. And, damn, I'll have to buy books. And fugure out other expenses -- I won't be working much. (In fact, if you're full time, you're not supposed to work more than 20 hours a week. No, I don't get it either -- no to self, find out if that includes volunteer hours).
In other news, I'm progressing with my Tai Chi. May be switiching to more day classes, since it looks like I'm being dumped into the evening law school track due to late admissions. Also planning to volunteer at local humane society. Between those, school and RPing, I'm wondering when I'll sleep.
