I ran to the library and when I came home, found out the dog had eaten a scented candle. The emergency vet has NO clue what that's going to do. They've never run across it before. Ah, Zeus, you keep my life interesting.

Hah! I wish. It was one of those super-flowery, obviously artificial scents. It has, however, done impressive things for his breath.

I don't think it'll do anything. The boy had a dog who ate crayons and nothing bad happened to her. Except, apparently, for pretty multicolored sparkly dogpoo. (She also ate tinsel.)
