So last night, I went to my first Camarilla LARP in the area. It was Werewolf, and I played NPCs, so that I could get a feel for the game and the players. I had a blast. I played two important roles. The mother of one of the newer characters, who was trying to find out if it was safe to tell his parents about him being a werewolf and if there was a family history of going furry. It is entirely possible that the character will end up committed as a result of that conversation. I also played a Ridden whose boss HATED one of the local packs. In an attempt to get information out of me, they ended up getting nothing, because they "accidentally" killed me right off the bat. Oops.

Looking forward to creating my character. And playing Vamp in three weeks. There's a Vamp game next weekend, but I'll be in the process of moving out of my aunt's house and into my own apartment.

Congrats on getting your own place!!

The new Werewolf game is really something fun. Not so keen on the vampire stuff.

But let us know if you want character ties!

For WtF, it looks like I may play the daughter of a (soon to be) deceased NPC, so I probably won't need many background ties with other charactwea. Haven't been to the VtR game yet, so can't speak about what will happen there.

Werewolf really was very fun. Good people, good ST staff. Was kind of a crazy night, because the players went in a totally different direction then they expected, which resulted in a certain amount of scrambling.
