Stressed OUT.

terrieI'm doing this flip-flop thing on how I feel about my new job. More specifically, how I feel about moving for my new job. The job part, I'm quite happy with. The moving part? I'm not so sure. In a lot of ways, I think it'll be healthy for me, provided I can keep from doing the sit around my room and read thing and actually get out and meet people. Blah. I'm terrible at meeting people.
But there's going to be a lot I'll miss. I'll miss Max, my mom's dog. I'll miss the Tai-Chi studio and my sifu and all the students. I'll miss the local farmer's market. And the Guthrie. I got to see both Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen there. I'll miss the public library -- we have one of the best in the nation.
I think part of it is that the packing and getting ready to leave is... daunting. Ugh. So much to do. It's much easier to dwell on everything I'll miss than to simply buckle down and deal with it.
