For some fairly random reason, I've decided to start sharing some favorite recipes. I'm odd like that.

Sicky rice w/ mangoes

2 cups sticky rice, washed, soaked over night (8 hours, or at least 4), and drained.
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup thick coconut milk

Topping:
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar

ripe mangoes, peeled, halved, sliced

Steam rice over water 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is soft. Dissolve the suger and salt in one cup thick coconut milk over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately. Add the cooked stick rive to the hot coconut milk. Stir until well mixed. Cover and let stand 30 minutes.

Prepare the topping by bringing 1 cup cocnut milk slowly to boil. Add salt and sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar.

Serve sticky rice topped with mangos and topping
