First off, Spike. I love Spike. Heck, my dad, who hates the show, loves Spike. And he brought BEER to the meeting. In a briefcase. How very him.

Second, Adam Baldwin. SQEEEEE!!! I've missed him since Firefly ended. He's wonderful. A bit odd to see him cleanshaven. And smart. I'm so used to him as Jayne Cobb. And that the big scary threat he carried was... a piece of paper. How very Joss. "Sign here, here and here."

Gunn. Not fired. This is a good thing. Angel has learned from his mistakes. This is also a good thing. The atonement speech was very welldone. However, Gunn got it wrong. What he is doing is not atonement. It's martyrhood. I did like that, when he left the hospital bed, he shaved his head. Nice touch as to Gunn's character.

Wes/Not!Fred. Boring. I never believed in Wes/Fred (too little time) so it lacks impact. I liked the bit about the shrimp, though.

Lindsey. Actually, I found it to be hellish even without the torture chamber. The... mundanity of it all terrfies me. Same thing, day after day. Brrrrr.

And the Apocalypse. I like that it's not about a BigBad. It's about complacency. Very much in touch with the real world, there.

And, also, I want a shirt that say "Do the astronauts have weapons?"
