Okay, THAT was about the funniest thing I've ever seen. References to... just about anything you can think of. Also well worth sitting down for the special. Loved knowing that invisible Jack was actually played by RDA.

Like most people on my f-list, the thing that cracked me up most was the PUPPETS. I mean, dude, puppets! What's not to love? And Hammond demands spinning. Because it's round and ought to spin! And the Furlings. They met them and blew them up. Because, after all, everything is better with explosions.

Let it never be said that Stargate takes itself seriously.

I like Elizabeth. Often, the writers have no clue what to do with her, so I found this to be a nice change. It didn't bother me that it was a bit of a retread of an old plot. Most SGA is a retread of an old plot. (Oh, and this one predates Buffy, so stop with the comparisons). We've had plenty of the team recently, so the lack of the John Sheppard show was fine by me. (He's actually my least favorite character). I really don't get the whining by some people about this one.

John isn't my least favorite (that's Teyla, followed by Carson) but I do admit that overall, he's kinda...boring. *gasp*

Fvorite to least: Rodney, Radek, Teyla, Carson, Ronon/Elizabeth, Sheppard. Ford used to be my least fav, but he's gone. Lorne isn't on often enough for me to stick him anywhere.

I'm utterly with you on this one. I was delighted to see a good mindfuck with Elizabeth at the center of it. And lots of lovely Rodney and Carson moments, too. I was in heaven!

Torri can act, so it's nice to see them give her something to work with. The big problem is that the character is a talker on an action show. Too often, all they have her do is deliver the explination. Sooo nice to see them do something else with her.
