C+ average. That puts me just below the school average of a B-. This means I lose my scholarship, which sucks big time. But it could be worse, I suppose. Actually, considering how much I struggled with the writing (which is a HUGE part of your final grade when you're talking essay exams), I did pretty good.

Sucks about the scholarship, but yay that you passed. And there's always next year to improve. Congrats!

Really sorry to hear about the scholarship. Any chance you can get it back if you raise your average?

Scholarship

The situation's not quite the same, but a friend of mine appealed to get her scholarship extended one more semester so she could finish off her bachelor's and complete both her major (Biology) and her minor (Art History) without going completely bankrupt. They did hear her case and extended her scholarship.

If your grade is JUST BELOW the average, and if you need to get at least the average, maybe you can appeal to financial aid? Especially if there were extenuating circumstances? It's worth looking into - the worst they can do is say no. There's got to be some sort of appeals process for something like that.

I needed to keep it in the top 1/3, so I'm guessing no. But, there is another scholarhsip that I can go for. It's slightly less, but easier to keep.

Passing was my main goal this year. I knew Id probably lose the scholarship, so it's not like it's a shock.
