Is there some sort of rule that, within 24 hours of entering their new home, a cat must find the one hidey hole you did not know existed and park there? Took the dog to the dog park for an hour and came home to an invisible cat. Yikes!
Intellectually? I know there is no way for him to have escaped. He was in a locked apartment, for Christ's sake. But part of me keeps thinking "Oh my God, someone must have broken in and stolen the cat!"
Locked the dog in the bathroom and put out stinky cat food to see if I can lure him out. He'll turn up. It just a matter of will I have a heart attack first.
