Feeling more human
Aug. 10th, 2009 08:26 amSo I'm done house sitting for my aunt who lives locally. The critters all survived, mine are thrilled to be back home, and my aunt is grateful for the first all family vacation they've had in years. Though my cousin was horribely offended I used his Wii, because I *gasp* changed his average. He is SUCH a teenage boy.
Then another aunt (same side of the family) and a friend of hers came into town. My aunt is... well, southern, and her friend even more so. By which I mean there's that classist attitude that lets them mock others with no idea of how much it makes those around them cringe.
But they're gone and I've caught up on my sleep and spent time with friends, so I'm back to feeling human.
