Home for the holidays
Dec. 23rd, 2008 10:47 amFlew into Minnesota yesterday. Came dangerously close to missing my plane, but made it with about five minutes to spare. Yeah, let's never do that again. The only good thing was that because they'd closed out some systems and I had no cash, they waived the baggage fee for me. However, as a method of saving $15, I do NOT recommend this.
I seem to have picked up a mild stomach bug. Probably viral. In fact, I think I know who I got it from. As a result, I am not going to see my grandma today. It was more a duty trip, so not a huge loss for me. My mom thought my dad was going to try and guilt me into coming, since it's his mom, but his response was "We don't want her to get sick. She's OLD." If this is viral gastroenteritis, it's up there in being contagious, so I'm staying home while the folks bring my gift.
