Standoff in my bathroom

Took the dog out to pee and when we got back, the cat was in the bathroom. She mainly stays on the bed, because he can't get to her there. Now she's hunched down in the corner and the dog is standing vigil in the doorway. They're not going to hurt each other, but there's a real "failure to communicate" between the species here.

Zeus has almost zero prey drive. The only thing I ever saw him chase was a butterfly's shadow. But something about cats fascinates him. I can't explain it.
