Eww

Took Zeus into the vet today. It's been confirmed that, yes, he does have an ear infection. Apparently, there's some scarring in that ear that reduces air flow, so it will probably need an eye kept on it always.

He also got his nails trimmed, which he did very well with. They were long enough that they were strating to make his toes skew, so I was glad to find out the quick (the blood vessel in the nail) was very short. They're not half the length they were before. Yeah! I'm also glad I had them done there, rather than doing them myself. I've never had a dog with dark nails before and apprently, his are extremely hard.

I was a bit embarrassed when he decided to pee on the front desk as I waited to pay. And he didn't just pee. He peed... and peed.... and peed. I swear, his bladder in the size of a cantaloupe.

I'm watching the Spelling Bee finals. Gotta love the bee. One kid got the word "numnah" but misheard it. With a confused look on his face, he went "Numb nuts?" The pronouncer repeated the word slowly and carefully and the kid got a huge look of relief on his face and went "Oh, numNAH! That's a relief."
