Shhhh, I'm sleeping.

Or, well, at least I wish I was sleeping. I'm at work. But expect me to be quiet for several days. Our modem went kaput. This is why I need to sleep. Sleep keeps the cravings at bay. Life w/o email sucks. Anyway, since our ISP was like "Hey, the warranty ran out on your modem last month, so pay us $150 to get back online" we've decided this is a good time to change ISPs. So tomorrow I call to put in the order for a cable modem (since we could bundle that together w/ phone + cable for cheaper than what we currently pay).  I plan to go self-install, because, seriously, it ain't brain surgery. I'm not paying insane money for some guy who's not as smart as me to come and freak the dog out. (Max gets weird about new people in the house).

I'm a little worried about going home. We got at least 8 inches, maybe 10. Too much for me to snowblow out front. I couldn't get the damned thing to turn, so it wouldn't go around the house from the garage. Straight lines only. So I shoveled. I also had to shovel the back walk to get to the garage and the snowblower. Then the plow came along and reburied part of my driveway. All told, I spent an hour and a half digging myself out. I am going to hurt SO much tomorrow.
