Variety Pack

So this past weekend, my uncle and aunt came through twon on their way to her mom's. They spent the night here, along with their two Havanese. So cute. So light! The heavier of the two weighed 12 pounds, the lighter 10. My CAT weighs ten pounds. Very sweet pups. Luis, the male, is their agility dog. He's generally outgoing and bold, running up to demand attention. Big on the kisses. Wink is their conformation dog. In great irony, Wink was also my uncle's childhood nickname. (The breeder picked the name, not my aunt and uncle).

Classes are going all right. Got a B- on my one midterm exam. It would have been nice to do better, but, really, as long as I pass, I don't worry too much. Grades aren't worth killing myself over. I'm not terribley gifted at law, but that's okay. I'm not going to be a lawyer, so I don't need to be.

I'm currently thinking I might get a real job (as opposed to work study) and attend school part time. Would make my loans a bit more managable. I'd be able to avoid private loans, since part timre tutition won't excede that amount teh feds limit me to. Applied to one place, in the process of working on my cover letter for another. We'll see what happens. *crosses fingers*

Halloween was quiet, at least for me. I went to class and then to Tai Chi. Still managed to eat too much candy in the last few days. And it's never the amount that gets to me. It's how cheap most Halloween candy is. Yuck!
