(no subject)

As most of your know, I live with my folks, since I'm a broke, full-time student. Well, last week, I got the news that we were going to sell the house. Lots of reasons that I'm not going to go into. And my mom wants it on the market by late August -- if we list it. We may use word of mouth to find a buyer.

It wasn't an out of the blue thing -- we've been planning to sell the house in the next couple years. It's just a very sudden timeline acceleration. But it makes for chaotic living and makes it hard to plan ahead very far. And I hate sudden surprises.

It also makes for a LOT of work. Spent today with my uncle doing some prep to help get the house ready to paint. Still have putty under my nails and probably will for the next couple days.

Push Hands

Just go back from Push Hands. It's a series of two-person drills for Tai Chi. I've been looking forward to this for months. The frist drill we learn is Willow. Your partner pushes at various parts of your body and you try to not tense up and simply return to a neutral position. It's fun, but a bit odd. The odd part is that someone who don't know very well is putting their hands all over you. That part is going to take some getting used to.
