Scrambled brains
Feb. 4th, 2005 05:30 pmI slipped on the ice yesterday. It's been really warm, so there's lots of thin, wet ice. Combine that with the incline I was walking down and my butt and elbows met the pavement. Thankfully, I didn't hit my head, but the impact traveled right up my spine and left me with a headache all day. This morning, the worst I had was a stiff neck, but the headache is creepying back up on me. Mainly tension, so I'll probably put some heat on it later.
Also, had an interview today. Other than the fact that I have yet to find a pair of dress shoes that don't seriously kill my feet, I think it went well. The job is for student reps for a law database. Since I'm the only student applying with a library degree, I think I have an advantage. I think I also won points for my answer to "What's the most recent thing you taught yourself?" The only thing I could come up with was how to make choclate mousse. I got a laugh and a comment that it was certainly original.
Stargate tonight. Cable is one of the reasons I don't mind that I still live with my parents.
