Why trying to get into school SUCKS!
Jul. 23rd, 2004 12:35 pmTwo days after I got my LSAT scores, I called the school to make sure my application was good to go. I was given an all clear. Having not heard anything since, I called again today. And was told I have a problem. The LSAC (Law School Admission Council) has a system where you pay them tons of money and they hand out your info to your schools rather than having to send out tons of repeats of the same thing (your letters of recommendation, transcripts, etc). Since I was only applying to one place, I was under the impression that I didn't need this service. Well, I was wrong. If I want them to send out my LSAT scores, I must sign up and give them my transcripts.
After a couple hours of running around, hyperventilating and hoping it will all work out, my checks are headed out to my various schools, where my transcipts will be overnighted (there goes more of my hard-earned cash) to LSAC. Stupid LSAC.
And, after spending so much money, I have even less because I took off from work three hours early to take care of this mess.
