Well, I've been quiet the last few days because I've been without computer access. Very early on Thursday morning, I left with my parents to head out to my brother's graudation in the middle of nowhere, Ohio. Twelve very long hours in the back seat of car. We only stopped three times for gas, food, etc. Funniest incident: when my mom ordered a low-carb meal from Hardee's, not realizing they made it low-carb by ditching the bun.

So we got to my brother's college. It was... smallish, but not in the way Beloit was smallish. The town in itty-bitty, populated only by college staff, faculty and retired people formerly associted with the college. The campus interweaves with the town, so that they're kinda one and the same. Everything is spread out and tucked among the trees, giving it a kinda summer camp feel.

When we got there, I found out my brother was not expecting me to come. He was happy to see me, but to find out I didn't actually have to spend all those hours stuck in a car... Wow, bad moment there, let me tell you.

The actual graduation was extremely long and boring. They're very into tradition at Kenyon, apparently. I felt that they put form before substance, because the speakers were... dull. Very, very dull. And pointless. They have much fancier robes and capes than Beloit, heavier, better quality material. However, they also don't have students buy their cap and gowns. They simply borrow them for the ceramony. So no decorations.

Over all, only eally worth it to make my brother happy, and I'm in doubts if that balances out wit the pain in the ass factors.
