More LARP thoughts

terrieOne of things I love in role playing is when you pull something off that you weren't sure your could do. I now know for sure that I can pull off a character with Presence 1. Last game I had one person ask if I was playing a new character and one person swear that they had never met my character before, despite thet fact that they were there when I was acknowledged by the Prince and had, in fact, spoken to me at one game. Three months of playing this character and she had completely and totally failed to register with either of them. I couldn't be happier.
While "wallflower" isn't a goal that many people have for their character, there are huge advantages. I managed to follow someone else into the Prince's meeting and was able to stay without comment. Everyone just assumed I was there with someone else. After all, I'd never just invite myself in, right?
